Acosta was charged with possession of heroin and issued a motor vehicle summons for failure to wear a seat belt. Police patted down Acosta and found a bulge in his pocket that was found to be 30 glassine envelopes of heroin. While separated from the passenger, she admitted to police that she had a heroin addiction and said she had paraphernalia in her bag and said Acosta probably had heroin. While speaking to Wieczorkowski she was extremely nervous. On April 6, police conducted a motor vehicle stop for a suspended license that resulted in the arrests of Destini Wieczorkowski, 22, of Franklin and Roberto Acosta, 19, of Paterson. Bouvia was additionally issued three motor vehicle summonses. Both were charged with possession of heroin, drug paraphernalia, and hypodermic syringe and hindering apprehension. They then gave consent to search and police located five glassine envelopes and a hypodermic syringe. Based on the cap and their demeanor, a K-9 unit was requested. They were questioned and said they didn't have any narcotics. Police saw a syringe cap on the floor of the car and small rubber bands. ![]() On March 31, police conducted a motor vehicle stop for obstruction of view and brake lights out that resulted in the arrests of Joshua Corron, 27, of Plattsburgh, N.Y., and Tarah Bouvia, 29, of Plattsburgh, N.Y. Conte, who gave a fake name and date of birth to police, was also charged with hindering apprehension and issued five motor vehicle summonses. ![]() ![]() Both were charged with possession of heroin, and possession with intent to distribute. In total, police recovered 410 glassine envelopes of heroin. She also admitted to having eight bricks in her pants. Stafford admitted to having a bundle of heroin in her bra and surrendered it to police. They were questioned separately and police found their stories didn't match. On March 29, police conducted a motor vehicle stop for an unsafe lane change on Goffle and Wagaraw roads that resulted in the arrests of John Conte, 39, of New Windsor, N.Y., and Juliet Stafford, 34, of New Windsor, N.Y. ![]()
